I was told I was ugly. Turns out, nobody is.
This is the site I wish had existed when I was growing up — honest, simple beauty guides written by someone who learned everything the hard way.
Where this started
Growing up, I was bullied. My classmates called me a boy. They judged me hard for the way I looked, and for years, I believed them. I carried that with me longer than I should have.
But somewhere along the way — during the long, quiet months of Covid lockdown, with nothing but time and a phone — I started experimenting. Skincare. Makeup. Understanding what actually works for different skin types and tones. And slowly, something shifted.

The more I learned, the more I realised: almost nobody knows what they’re actually putting on their skin. Not me, not my friends, not even people who’d been buying the same products for years. The beauty industry is full of jargon, conflicting advice, and products marketed without a single clear explanation of what they do or who they’re for.
That’s why I built Glamossary.
Since launching Glamossary, I’ve made it my mission to break down every product, ingredient, and technique into plain English. No fluff. No filler. Just the kind of honest, straightforward advice I wish someone had given me when I was starting out.
